Technical Sales Assistant

Mammoth Machine and Design is seeking a motivated technical sales assistant to help our growing sales team. Sales assistant duties include prospecting new clients, ascertain the needs of prospective clients, help maintain social media, and assisting with customer service calls. The goal is to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new business through cold calls, warm leads, and collaboration with sales team
• Ascertain prospective clients needs and wants
• Accurately describe Mammoth’s products and services
• Update client information in the company CRM software
• Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence
• Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
• Follow all companies policies and procedures
• Assist in maintaining social media channels

Skills

• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Demonstrates talent at interacting effectively with all types of people, especially by phone
• Projects a professional and helpful image that inspires confidence and trust
• Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
• Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
• Strong computer skills
• Social media experience is a plus
